Our Beginners Acro class is for all ages and skill sets. We teach you basic partner exercises and poses safely, ensuring you are using the correct techniques and have the right support to feel confident in your movements.
Individual warm-up & Basic Partner Exercises (including partner stretches, partner conditioning, balance drills).
Introduction to Acro poses.
Each class you will learn a few different positions to try, this includes how to get in, hold & get out of the pose. Expect to learn techniques such as foot placement & body position to be able to hold poses with ease. You will be supported through class with instruction & guidance from our coaches – who will also help ‘spot’ to make sure you feel safe. You will be allowed time to practice each position with your partner & have the opportunity to try both basing & flying. When you start to feel comfortable in basic positions you will then start learning to transition (move/change) from one position to another.

If you are brand new to Acro or have only tried it a few times then yes - our beginners class is for you! The perfect opportunity to come and give it a try with our supportive coaches in a safe and fun environment and with other beginners.
Get ready to be proud of yourself for stepping outside of your comfort zone & trying something new! You will be surprised at what and how much you can do even if it's your first time. You will learn techniques that make it feel easy and see how strong you really are. Benefits of the beginners class is that you will be learning with other beginners and our coaches will guide you step by step through the class.
Expect a light warmup and stretch and then an introduction to some basic acro poses. We will teach you how to safely get into poses, how to balance them and how to come out. Repetition is key so you will be given time to practice and get comfortable in each position.
The studio has been the highlight of our trip to Sydney, the space is perfectly set up for safe practice from beginner to advanced.
